I just don't get all the excitement over In N Out either. When I first went to one I had such high expectations from what I had been told, but the east coast has way better burger joints. Heck, I'd take Chili's burger and fries over In N Out. If you are ever in Rochester, NY, check out Bill Gray's....the best cheeseburger and hot sauce ever.

Love Love Love Burgermaster. I would even pick it over Red Mill or Dick's...but that's just me.

In 'n Out is the best! I miss it!! In fact, it's the only thing about So Cal that I miss. Sonic is also good and we could use more in Washington State, especially in the Seattle area.

I don't believe Sonic will ever be a major player within the city. They need too much space (i.e. valuable real estate), and competing againt Dick's and Burgermaster may be a bit daunting. The Sea 'burbs is another story...

In-and -out is good. However it would not say they're the best. They are rather plain. They're good because the ingredients are fresh but the burgers themselves aren't too much different than what you can make at home; meat, cheese, ketchup, mustard (which you have to ask for) lettuce and tomatoes. Nothing that really sets it apart from a home cooked burger really.

Yeah, In-N-Out is TOTALLY overrated. They're not that amazing. Carls Jr. is better in my opinion. I haven't tried Dick's or Burgermaster, but I love Burgerville in the Portland area.

I'll have to try Dick's or Burgermaster next time I'm there. I do agree that Carl's is better.
