Lake Washington Picture Taking Spots
There have been a few times when I've driven on I-90 and crossed over Lake Washington. I think it's gorgeous and am hoping someone has suggestions for good spots to park and take some pictures of the scenery in that area. Thank you, I appreciate any help!

Seward Park has some amazing scenery. The loop around it is a fabulous walk, too, with lots of opportunities for taking pictures of pretty things.

The northern end of Cascadia Ave in the Mount Baker section of Seattle. You sit high on a ridge and you see quite a bit from up there.

I am fortunate enough to live two blocks from Seward Park ... I heartily second Ira500's suggestion. When you walk up on the paths among the old growth trees, you feel like you're far from civilization.

Luther Burbank park on Mercer Island (or Groveland beach or Clark Beach), Seward park in Seattle, the I-90 bridge pedestrian path... Somewhere on the hills in Somerset, overlooking the lake, you'll be able to see Downtown Seattle as well... Just a few thoughts

I've never tried it, but I would think that the bike path across the bridge would afford great photo opportunities, if you're a bicyclist.
I'm assuming there is enough room to stop?

As a bike rider who commutes nearly daily from Seattle to Bellevue, I would disagree the I90 bike path offers great photo ops. It's noisy, dirty and not a nice place to stop. And most of the pretty scenery (Mount Rainier, e.g.) is to the south, so you have seven lanes of freeway to photograph past. A nicer place for photos is the western overlook by the tunnel.

Good to know about the bike path. I had often wondered - thanks for sharing that.
