Default Redmond Neighborhoods for Halloween

Hi!

We just moved from Houston to Redmond at the beginning of this month. We are very unfamiliar with this area, and we were wondering if anyone had any advice for trick or treating. We live in a condo, so there will be no porch lights indicating that the tenants are trick-or-treat friendly. We have a 4 year old and a 9 month old, so we just want something calm and family friendly.

Thank you for any advice,

Gina

Most people anymore seem to be going to shopping centers. Redmond Town Center is doing trick-or-treat today: Redmond Town Center | Events Calendar -. I doubt it will be calm, but if the little one does well in a stroller or sling, then it's probably quite doable and the four-year-old will see plenty of people out and around in their costumes.

Our first Halloween in Redmond was last year, and it was reasonably steady. There were groups of people out walking around, usually escorted by at least one adult that stood near the street, and plenty of people were participating. Lots of decorations around too. We're in Education Hill. I would guess that Redmond Ridge would be another good place; it's a newer development that's very family-oriented.

With your situation I would probably either head to RTC or pick a neighborhood that's nicely decorated with lots of lights on and hit the sidewalks.

Thank you so much for the advice. We did go to the Redmond Town Center and the kids had a blast!

It was our first time down there, so it was nice to see all the shops that were available so close to home.

Thanks again for your help,

Gina
