Where in the entire Seattle AREA would you move if the following applied to you?....

You are in your early thirties.
You do accounting and your husband is a Journeyman Meat Cutter and covered in tattoos so don't want to be surrounded by close minded people.
You have two children ages thirteen and five that need to be enrolled in good schools.
You want to commute as little as possible for work.
You need -for financial reasons- to live as inexpensively as possible but in a low crime area.
Money being an issue you would want to live as close to nature as possible for good free fun.

I know I'm looking for perfect but aren't we all? I will say that I am rational and realize I might have to compromise somewhere..If I did it would be the commuting....No more than thirty minutes if possible.

Thanks everyone!

Summerstatic --

Suggest doing a Google search for "Olympia WA Meat Cutter". Three hits with contact info will show up. All three are close to communities generally fitting your description and who knows, may even be looking for employees. Other cities I'd try this same search on would be the two suggested by blubrd, and Chehalis, Centralia, Yelm, Bellingham, and Mt. Vernon. Olympia and Bellingham are the two biggest and the two where your husband's tattoos probably won't even be noticed. The others are smaller, but none are particularly close-minded (others may disagree).

I don't know if Stewert Meats are looking for cutters but it is a long time Meat shop in Yelm. Tattoos would be no problem. Not sure what the wages are. It is so busy year round and so old gradfathered not to have to be FDA certicfied meats. You could live in Yelm Oympia area. I am always looking for a good accountant. Centralia also has a big Meat shop, outside of the corporate chains. I agree with all the areas DBM is saying. Still afforable rural living possible.
