Ok, 18 is pretty cold, but I wouldn't say "damn" cold. Of course, My dad is from Boston and my mom is from north Wisconsin (Superior, right outside of Duluth, Mn).

-40 below wind chill quite regularly. I guess being from California it could seem like some crazy cold weather, but it isn't that bad, I assure you :P

ETA: I bring up Wisconsin, because we are pretty much just as far north as where they have those temps.

Quite possibly the best photos I've seen on here since becoming a member on CD. Ab fab.

I've been out there once - in 2006 - and am planning another trip this spring. That may be all it takes to get me out there permanently. I am in love with the Pacific Northwest, and have been for a while.

ok, 18 is cold. -40...that's not weather, that's an emergency condition! LOL
