If the roles were reversed, and it was the husband holding back the wife from career development would that be worse?

If the other half of a marriage is acting as a significant deterrant to the personal development of the other spouse (especially willingly for selfish reasons) then really what good are they?

I'll be moving to Seattle in February and I recently graduated with a ba in psych. ultimately my plan is to get my MBA, however I know its kinda useless to get that w/out any work experience. I also have little or no interest in continuing my psych degree.

Basically school is much cheaper in Fresno, Ca but there is not much of a job market.

I was wondering what the job climate was there? Is it just bad news everywhere or could I find some work as a waiter or something enough to pay my rent?

I know it's such a vague question, but since I have no work experience I know it's going to be really tough finding any kind of first time real work.

just thought I'd ask since I'll inevitably be there soon.
