Question Apartments-Seattle/Surrounding Areas

We are fairly new to the area and are looking to find a 3 bedroom apartment for no more than $1200 a month,if possible. One that is more of a child friendly enviroment since we have 2 small children.
We aren't sure on which neighborhoods or for that matter what apartments to even start looking at,I have done a search on line for apartments but want to get others feedback of areas and such.

We are looking to stay within about 30-45 minutes of Downtown.

If anyone knows of any nice apartments or any areas to look at I would really appreciate it...

Thanks so much!

Depending on traffic, it might take you a bit longer to get to downtown, but you might want to try looking at Snohomish County. There are plenty of nice, safe neighborhoods in Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace and other places where you could find an apartment in your price range. I don't know too much about the south end, but you might find some good neighborhoods down there as well. It might be tough to find a place in the city.

I agree about Snohomish. For that price range, I'm not sure you're going to find a three bedroom apartment in the areas I'm familiar with (Eastside).

Good luck!
