from ohio to washington (Seattle: apartment, job market, moving)

i am moving in six months to the northwest.i am debating between portland,oregon and seattle. i will have no job and no apartment when i arrive. any thoughts on the subject would be greatly appreciated.jim

If you didn't see my reply in the Portland thread, here's the excerpt:

"But to answer your one of your questions, Jim, if you're debating between Portland and Seattle, I'd have to say Seattle. It's still a more booming place than Portland and should be much easier to find a job. Remember, it still has Microsoft and Boeing to anchor the job market there."
