hey everyone --
gonna be trekking to seattle in a couple of weeks, and am in the process of setting up my utilities being connected. my question is: what are the good cable internet/tv companies in Seattle? is certain ones preferred over others? i know everyone has different experiences/opinions of internet providers, especially the larger corporations. if anyone has any info in where i should start looking for a solid internet provider, as well as cable tv, that would be terrific.

i'm not opposed to DSL internet either, if there are better providers for DSL compared to cable in Seattle.

thanks much, and can't wait to get there. just got back last week from visiting for a week and finding an apartment, which very much luck

Comcast pretty much has a monopoly on cable internet/TV in metro Seattle. Qwest, the phone company, also offers DSL at a competitive price.
