I was looking at the Tahoma School District web site and it looks like there are full and half day options? Is this correct? And if so, is it up to the parents to decide?
Does it vary from district to district as well?
I am originally from CA and where I taught, K was half day. In NC where we live now, it is full day--which I really liked when my daughter was in K.
Thanks!

Call the school district and ask. AFAIK, WA state only funds half day kindergarten. Full-day kindergarten is usually tuition based.

Tahoma schools do offer all day and half day kindergarten, depending on space available, and they charge about 2550 per school year for the all day option.
It does vary from district to district. Tahoma's a good one.
