Hello all

I am new resident of Seattle, I live in the columbia city area. I wanted some suggestions on furtunire stores. I know you can get some great deals on craigslist but any suggestions on furniture stores in the seattle area would be helpful

Thank you in advance

We have Ikea (more towards the Renton area), a store called "Stupid Prices" that might have what you're looking for (but its more in Fed. Way and Edmonds, some locations on the Eastside).

I would go to Lynnwood's "furniture row" for everything other than sofas, chairs and mattresses. I think their warehouses make upholstered items smell sort of funny (personal opinion). The stores around Lynnwood's furniture row area are not at all fancy but you can get good prices. Sometimes they deliver and sometimes you have to haul away. For upholstered items I would still go to someplace like a Crate and Barrel or Pottery Barn sale and for mattresses look for Costco's promos where they have something like a queen set for $499. (I think). Just my thought

Have you tried Dixon's on Rainier Avenue, just north of Columbia City?
