My feelings as well. I'd trust the instincts of my dogs, before those of many people. They have heightened scent and hearing. An intelligent dog is amazingly quick to understand a crisis situation, and if treated even halfway decently, will place him/herself between their owner and any danger. Not too many humans will do that. If you can find a human like that, stick with them!

NO I'm not going to eat our dog, she is part of the family and anyway she can hear people a lot sooner than I can and is a good guard(but not attack) dog. we may have to shoot any loose dogs about post SHTF before they become a nuisance. ditto the cats.

The reasons humans and canines developed the relationship that we have is they hung around and fed on our garbage. they gave us warning, sometimes helped with hunting, and often during famine, we ate them, especially weaned puppies.

there is a lot of stuff I can eat before I have to eat dog, not that I wouldn't if I had to shoot one that attacked me, its free meat after all but it wouldn't be my first choice.

very little about effective survival methods is about being nice or choosy.

its ALL about choice, we choose whether to live or die, we choose whether to prep or be a sheeple, we choose to take care of our own survival not leave it in the hands of the government or some 3rd party, etc.etc.

I think the burning question for today is whether GunKid has returned. Or just a facsimile...

It's Gunkid. He's toned down his language, but the posting style is the same, that is, he cranks out many posts in many threads with the same theme. His animal hating is in evidence as well.

Do you have any opinions about wheelbarrows or silenced .22 rifles, dreadd?
