It's not the heat... For me, it really is the humidity. There's a big difference between 93 degrees and dry, and 93 with 90% humidity. I've grown much less tolerant of it in the last few years. I have central air conditioning, and I usually turn it on when I begin to feel that I'm drinking the air. I tried to tough it out last summer and discovered that mold and mildew just loved my out of season clothing, books and other consumables. It wasn't worth it. Live and learn.
