So yes, continue to prep, concentrating on food and food production, being mindful that the old-time family farm was all that stood between many folks and starvation. As it was then, so it shall be once again. Resist the forces of centralization (as the UN, the liberals, and the globalists are pushing for high-rise urban dwelling for all of us), as that would leave us all helpless in the face of food shortages or unaffordable food prices.
Get back to a small rural place that you own outright, where you can raise enough food to survive an interruption in supply. Spread out, decentralize, grow. Never become complacent over the election of a single person. No one but God can save us, and He wasn't on the ballot.

Whole country in ruins? I'd tend to agree, but after the vast damage done these past 8 years, at least there is reason to now be optimistic that in the next 4 some of that damage can be undone.
