Had a minor SHTF today. Water heater crapped out and leaked into the house. Fortunately, we have tools, shopvac and emergency funds to buy a new one without any stress. Preparedness is not just for doomsday, it is for everyday things as well.
Before I prepped for doomsday, I got out of debt and built emergency funds for everyday things like loss of income and repairs.
