I did a search "increase in volcanoes" and for the most part got 2 types of articles:
1) most scientist agree that there is nothing to worry about.
2) there is an increase in volcanic activity and its because of global warming.
#2 seems counter-intuitive because the more volcanic ash in the atmosphere, the cooler the temperatures will be. This happened after the 1991 eruption of Mt. Pinatubo in the Philippines which cause the cooler temps for the next year of 1-2 degrees.
I did find an article which blames it on the slowing of the earth's rotation by about 1 millisecond per day:
https://www.stuff.co.nz/environment/...e-world-panics
and then there's the coming ice age theory:
https://www.iceagenow.com/Volcanic_a..._worldwide.htm
and while looking into the planet X theory (which I take with a grain of salt) the increase in seismic/volcanic activity is due to the approaching of Nubiru/Planet X - I forget why and how.
If there is an increase in volcanoes, I tend to agree with the coming ice age theory. (search for solar minimum) it happened in recorded history and there are different cycles that overlap. Its caused by a reduction in the number of sun spots.
But please, when visiting Yellowstone, tread lightly.
