A lot of my poster frames are 20 or more years old, so I am replacing them.
The cardboard and be recycled, the railings can be kept as spares for other frames, but what about the acrylic, the plastic sheeting?
I have a question in the Green Living forum about how to recycle it but if there are "no takers", is there an alternate use, such as in some kind of emergency sheltering or the like?
I am not necessarily looking for some company to send it to as more a reason to store it.
I don't think acrylic takesmthe sun well, nor ismthat thickness any good for replacing broken glass in a window, so its usefulness in construction could be limited. If large enough, they could work as disposable lids for cold frames for gardening in early or late season. Everything but a politician has some use. You just have to think creatively. Some things, though, aren't useful enough to warrant taking storage space for. That is up to you.
