[quote=Central Illinois 1;10561227]There's an old song by Charlie Daniels called "in America". Part of that song says
"This lady may have fallen, but she aint never fell,
And if the Russians don't believe this,
They can all go straight to hell.
Just go try to lay your hand on a Pittsburg Steelers fan,
Then I think you'll finally understand"
Oh interesting. So now you suddenly trust and believe in communists, simply for the reason it involved some negative feedback on Obama?...
Also, people learn to understand that socialism is NOT communism. Socialism is not a form of politics. Socialism is an economic system. It has nothing to do with oppressing or controlling people.
Just because the Soviet Union collapsed does not automatically mean the USA will follow suit. Any fool can say that: 'everything you know will perish', simply because nothing lasts forever.
Let6 me guess he pounded the deak with his shoe and said he would bury us. Typical russian thinking. The kind of economist that made the USSR collapse year sago after running hai country into the ground over decadeswhioe his people suffer sinmce WWII. That is 65 years of suffering besides which they took weatern euroipe with them.
Russians just can't understand how such a huge and diversified (and absolutely successful) country can exist without oppression from a government. This comes from the Russian history that is full of fighting of their governments with their own people this way or that way and generally saying there are no periods of real democracy (the governance by the people) in their history. It is just beyond their understanding how such a huge and effective systems (such as US) can survive without totalitarian power controlling it. That is why the topic is popular in Russia. Beside it's a part of Putin's propaganda with the aim to distract Russian people from their internal problems which are huge. Russia itself is still on a brink of collapse.
I disagree with a "crash" in two months, but I totally agree with his assertion that Obama is not a leader.
Obama is an appeaser. He tries too hard to make everyone happy. When he learns that those "difficult decisions" he spoke of during the campaign are tangible assets, then and only then will he be a true leader. Until then, its six one way, half-a-dozen the other. It doesn't take a genius to be able to do that.
if the collapse is eminent, whats it going to take to get this going?
