At least that's what my old man says. I'm actually okay with this scenario. Everything and everybody gone in a flash. Oh well, like Neil Young says..."It's better to burn out than fade away!"
I'm definitely stocking up on Champagne then!

I have no idea what will happen in 2012 but I do know that the earth is behaving in a manner that is alarming.

This list from the BBC will show that earthquakes are getting closer together and stronger..........

We live in interesting times......socially, politically, technologically, geologically. No one can foretell the future but we can see trends.

I still say......be the ant, not the grasshopper.

Well I don't believe it;but. The federal government believe it with nuclear attck because the presdient and congress had specail shelter built fo them. If you believe it I see no hamr in trying;who knows it any work if enough go quick enough before they can steal your goods.I see so many talkign about houses;generators and stocking food at their hopuses. That is the first place the roaming gangs will look. Anything that isn't buried in portitons will be gotten quickly. You can not trust anyone reallt except foer longtime freinds and especaily others that have a urge to survivie.

You are right, texdav. The federal government has spent billions building and stocking shelters for themselves, as part of their COG (continuity of government) preparations. We likely don't even know the half of it but you can bet the farm they have their own butts covered. There is no way adequate shelters could be constructed for every single person in this country so that means we are on our own for any disaster that may be awaiting us somewhere down the road.
