If you're looking to get the most value for your dollar, it would do your wallet good to check out secondhand options. I appreciate the article but only to a certain extent. While I do buy used cds once in awhile, I prefer to buy new ones and have the profits go to directly to the artists' share. I prefer to support the economy. But resale is also a good way to get rid of unwanted things like that (although I just turn them in to Goodwill).

I buy both new and used. Depends on the item and the deal.
