I use both features. The auction style is generally used to sell an item that has the potential to bid up. A high quality pair of shoes that the lister may start off at $9 for example.

But I also use the online stores, where vendors sell products like make up and hair care products. These are always "Buy it Now" options vs. auctions since the vendors have large quantities of the item they are selling.

I like both Auction and Buy It Now. If you want to get something low price look at auction(last bid and when the auction is over) I got a good Beatles Watch for 0.02 cents auction with shipping it cost me $1.29. Buy it now price is there, but you have to watch the shipping, that's where they can get you, so before your hit the Buy It Now button, look at the shipping cost.
