Which one do you think is better in terms of quality products, service and the consumer crowds they attract??

I personally prefer target because I find their products to be better in quality, their service to be very satisfactory, and the crowd they attract to be pretty decent.

Walmart on the other hand, doesn't have very good products, their service is pretty good, but the crowd they attract can be the epitome of trashy and obnoxious!! Why else do you think they have a site dedicated to the Walmatt crowd pointing out how obnoxious and trashy they are?

But this is JMHO. What about the rest of you?

Target over Walmart any day. Target and Walmart prices are almost the identical, maybe a penny or two difference. Target has a better class of customers, nicer and helpful employees, cleaner better shopping atmosphere, better quality of most merchandise, quick easy returns, quick pharmacy.

While I find Target prices to be a bit higher, I still prefer them over Walmart. The store is usually a lot more clean and organized. The employees are usually a lot nicer and look a lot cleaner than the walmart employees do. Target also has a great electronics sections and usually has the cds I'm looking for, while Walmart seems to always skip stocking that section.

It depends what I'm going in for. Sometimes I can find it all in Walmart, other times I can only locate a few items and have to go to other stores nearby (that includes Target) and vice versa. Some of the Super Walmarts are nicer than the Target stores that I've been to. Some have been equal. I've been in some pretty trashy Targets in my days. Customer service depends on the employees that happen to be working at that store, at that particular time of day.
Some Target employees aren't any different - good or bad than to some Walmart employees. I've run across very friendly and helpful associates at BOTH places.

Target by far.

Walmart serves a purpose, but for me not right now.
