WASHINGTON, Oct. 28 (UPI) -- General Electric is recalling 470 gas range tops with grills due to a potential explosion hazard, U.S. regulators said.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission said GE Appliances of Louisville, Ky., importers of GE Monogram Pro Rangetop with Grill, is recalling the items that can fail to ignite if the gas control knob is between OFF and LITE, which could create a buildup of ambient gas and increase the risk of an explosion.
