Keep in mind that the media loves to report on anything that goes wrong...and often gets it wrong themselves.

I was at Walmart for Black Friday and although yes there were times of just sheer chaos, the one I was at was far more organized (initially at least) than expected. People were lined up inside the store I was in, and that went quite well while it lasted.
