Default What year did you make your first online purchase? What did you buy? From where?

For me,

it was 1999. A dress shirt. From Brooks Brothers.

It was in Germany, I think in 1995 or so, from Intershop.

I think it was around 1999-2000 me and my brother made an ebay account without our parents knowing (we were 12 and 11 at the time) and bought a playstation 1. That was back when people on ebay still agreed to COD

I started paying bills online before I even ordered anything online but I remember the first thing I ordered was stuff from Amazon.

I think I made my first online purchase back in 2005 and it was through Amazon.com a cheap textbook for class.

Other than that 2009 was the year I first bought something interesting, beaded curtains from eBay.

I bought stuff listed on BBSs and Compuserve back in the mid 1980s. One of the purchases was a 1200 baud modem. The first software I made and sold was in 1985.

Yeah, '97, I think, but that's too long ago for this memory of mine to be specific, well and accurate, too.

I think it was about 1995 or 1996. I ordered some natural type lotions and moisturizers from drugstore.com and planetrx.com. They were supposed to be trial size samples, and I was very much surprised when they were actually full size. I felt like I hit the jackpot!
