I got this set of four pasta bowls and a huge serving bowl in 2001. One of the bowls broke and I'd like to replace it but it appears Williams Sonoma doesn't carry those bowls anymore.

Does anyone know of a good place to start looking for it? (Already tried e-Bay, their selection is pretty bad.)

Thanks!

Have you tried Replacements Ltd. ?

Replacements, Ltd.

They have a pretty wide selection of patterns.

I don't remember the pattern name and there is no pattern name/number anywhere on any bowl in the set. I'd need to match it to a photograph.

Try ebay. Sooner or later, it will be there.

Do you think if I took it to Williams-Sonoma they'd be able to identify it for me?

You could try shopgoodwill.com. They have all kinds of stuff, music instruments and kitchen items are generally the biggest categories. But you have to keep checking back, or look at the 'new today' items only, otherwise it gets really tedious.

Yes, they will.
First, get in touch with them...over phone with their customer service line, or per e-mail.
https://secure.williams-sonoma.com/cust/emailus.cfm

Next, either ask THEM, if thy can give you a tip and idvice on where you might be able to find it.......
Or..... cruise the web....you will be surprised, on how many websites you will find, still offering that item.
But first, you WILL need to product number and design name, in order to proceed.
Good luck!

I too have W-S dishes that were supposed to always be open-stock available - not! If yours is a white with either a cobalt blue or hunter green band, it is the Brasserie line and certain pieces are indeed available at Replacements, Ltd. If the piece you need is that oversized soup/pasta bowl with the wide rim, they don't currently have that in stock (it is one of the pieces I am looking for in the green) but they do have a fairly sizeable selection of the more common pieces like dinner plates, mugs etc.
