During a recent move I lost a piece to this lamp.

Floor Lamp with Reading Light : Target

The small black threaded ring that goes inside of the reading shade to hold it on is gone. I have searched and searched the internet and cannot find anything similar. If anyone can please help it would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe call the manufacturer?

Or perhaps the threaded ring from this would work?

Without seeing the part you are talking about it is hard for me to visualize what it is exactly. If you can contact the manufacturer that would be an option, or I found this that may help : Lamp Parts | Lamp Supplies | Lighting Parts | Lighting Supplies -

Good luck. It is frustrating when you lose things while moving - like you need more stuff to worry about!!!

At the big box home improvement stores they carry kits to build your own lamps as well as various parts. Perhaps you might find what you are looking for there.

Any lamp repair shops near you? Nowadays, they're few and far between, but many times brick-and-mortar lamp stores do repairs, too. I think they'd be a good resource for having a replacement part that can be used or maybe having something similar but would still hold the pieces together.

An alternative to a big-box hardware store (not that I NEVER shop there) is an Ace Hardware or similar. I have found that the folks there -- especially the older guys -- know exactly what I need and can usually find something that would work in a pinch.

If you have a Lamps Plus store near you I believe they carry this lamp, or similiar, and they have a parts dept where you can either get the part now or they can order it for you.
