Default Chinese made toys, Gap Who esle should we avoid this xmas season

Ok I had a gut feeling Gap Inc would end up in some scandal over overseas child labor so now Gap Banana Republic and Old Navy are off my list places to shop this holiday season.

I decided not to give out any toys but instead I will buy books or book gift cards.

Is there any other company to avoid due to bad buisness practices and who else is going to let these companies know that the consumer isnt going to put up with their careless behavior?

I do my very best to buy American. I don't like to spend money on things I cannot trust. Maybe some of the crafters in the area would be a good place to shop. Boycotting does not usually work, but there comes the time that we have to say, enough is enough and the only thing that will get their attention is when we affect their pocketbooks. They have certainly affected ours, not to mention the health of our children. This makes me very angry, because I love my grandchildren.
