Wal-Mart has their layaway program coming up (September through December) for the Christmas season. Anyone actually make use of this program?

There are stipulations. Read the story here.
Walmart Holiday Layaway Is Back
Be careful as Walmart has been known to lose some layaways.

Layaway is very popular at my Walmart, but I haven't used it myself. Many of my coworkers used it last year.

Nope. I have no need for it.

I haven't made use of it before but I'm going to this year. I've been wanting a flat screen TV for the past two years but have hesitated spending the money. I HAVE it but didn't want to part with a big chunk all at once. Silly, I know, but... Anyway, I'm going to finally put one on layaway for my own Christmas present. Chances are it will go down in price around Black Friday and, if it does, I will get the lower price. So, just to make sure I get it, I'm going for it.

For those wanting to get an early jump on layaway, it starts Sept 11 for those "Liking" Wal-Mart's layaway on Facebook.
