Getting ready to move into a new home where both floors are entirely hardwood floors. I previously owned a Mint floor cleaner and used the thing like crazy on my hardwood floors which in my old home were on just one floor. I always used the dry swiffers and it did a great job. It was 3 years old and needs replacing.
I will also have a lower level basement that will be carpeted, but my main concern is the two floors with hardwood.
I am debating on going with the iRobot Roomba 595 Pet Vacuum or Braava 380t. I have two cats and don't get alot of cat hair, just kind of the norm I guess. Each time after using the mint, I would take the swiffer off and throw it away, full of cat hair, dust, etc.
Debating on going with the 380t, or would the Roomba 595 do a better job. Never really liked the idea of dragging the swiffer continually over the floors full of dirt, but never seemed to be a problem.
Would appreciate thoughts/suggestions on which would be the better choice.
Pricewise found the Roomba 595 at Costco with alot of extra and the 380t for $299 at BB&B then apply a 20% off coupon.
