Thanks for remembering that store. There is a store out of NC called Hamricks which took over the Hills here in Roanoke, VA. I think Big Lots is probably more similar to Hills than many others I have seen.

I used to like Hills. I remember their commercial diddy that said "Hills are where the toys are! " True I was a kid when Hills was in their heyday in Western Pennsylvania. They turned to Ames and then closed in the mid or late 90s I think.

There are a couple of Hamrick's in Charlotte and they are ok.
