My son and I went to Toys R Us to buy an assortment of small stuffed animals. When we were in the parking lot, I commented that it had been at least 10 years since we had been to this store. Kids grow up way too fast, don't they? Anyways, I was shocked at the limited selection of stuffed animals! Where can I find stuffed animals? I can't buy online because we need very lightweight stuffed animals, not heavy beanie babies or ones stuffed tight and hard. Will the stores have more stuffed animal choices for Christmas? Do I have to wait until then?
I think one of the best places for stuffed animals is your Zoo gift store. They are pricey but well made and often have two for one specials, and obviously a great selection of interesting animals.

We use the Zoo gift shop or the dog toy section at Petco or one of the other pet supply stores.
I believe any of the chain department shops will have an area for stuffed animals as well.
Target in the $1 section just at the entry of the store. Walgreens, HEB.........go to a college campus and look for the "sweetheart" store on the fringes.
