Went to Kmart this morning and saw this big Christmas section complete with blinking trees and lights. I didn't find what I was looking for so I went down the street to Walmart, I don't remember seeing anything like that there. Talking about getting an early jump on the competition and still over a month until Halloween.

That aisle is for Christmas 2015. The Christmas 2014 aisle has been set up for 11 months now.

Yeah, I am seeing the same here in western PA.
It's awful... and I LOVE Christmas.

Just seem way too early to be seeing Christmas stuff already. I was just in kmart last week and I sure don't remember seeing this. I do have a lady on my job taking orders for Christmas cookies and candy for her kids school though.

I wish they had a Hanukkah Aisle rather than an end cap. They can happily bring that out early since its before Christmas.

This tells me that it is time to start stocking the pantry and the freezer so we do not have to do any shopping except for milk at the local grocery. Actually, I really don't have to do that either, I will freeze milk when I find a very good price.

So how does the milk taste after it thawed? I never tried that before.

I always try to have a small container or two in the freezer of some milk in the freezer (in case of an outage, hurricane, whatever) - it takes a couple days in the fridge to defrost and then I strain it (after shaking, it separates) - I only use it for my tea and sometimes cereal (which I use a little, I don't like milk) - but it's fine.
