Amazon.com has had its share of ups and downs, but it finished the holiday season on a ringing high note, reporting its strongest holiday sales figures ever.

I saw that on G4 the other day.. Pretty funny if you think about it. Day before Christmas, there was an ad in Craig's List - "Last minute Wii - $500" and it sold. Console only.

Pretty sad what people will pay for the "hippest thing".
