Why do so many people go return their Christmas stuff the day after Christmas? I mean...people can't wait a week or something to go return them?

Are the deals that good the day after???

I ask because last year I met my friend at her job (Macy's) because we were going to go eat, and when I got there at around 6PM, the place was a mess. Mounds of clothing all over the place...crazy. I felt so bad, because she was clearly stressed...the place looked like something out of hoarders.

So, are the deals that good that day????

Thank you.

I think in today's commercialized world, there are a few reasons. First, after the Christmas day celebrations are over and everyone has gone home, many people are still off from work and get bored. Then they realize they have a lot of stuff they don't want/need, so why not get out of the house and take the stuff back and buy more stuff they want?

Makes since to me.

Like Black Friday is the 'official mass buying day', the day after Christmas is the 'official mass returning day'...

Yes, and the people that participate seem to be suffering from mass hysteria, I wouldn't go near any store either of those days.
