I ordered a sweater for my daughter as a main Christmas gift back on November 11th expecting delivery within a week or 2. Well after several weeks passed I contacted The Danbury Mint and was told the item would ship by Dec 1. I started tracking the status on their web page and sure enough the date slipped to Dec 5th and today to Dec 12th. I ordered this item early because I travel to see her (out of state) and we exchange Christmas gifts when I visit the middle of December. Needless to say I will never order anything from these folks again. Don't let the name fool you, these guys are nothing but a third rate on-line retailer.
Often many on line retiaers offer things that even ship direct from manufacturers. Most tho state it when going to specific item that it ships that way.I'd have canceled and even disputed charge if necessary with credit card and bought somewhere else before now.
