OP, I'm calling you out.

Alejandra does not come with a dress, she comes with jeans, a shirt, crocs, and ribbons in her braided hair.

Also, there are accessories available that can go with any doll.

Of course, the OP (who lives in the same city as I do) fails to realize that Hispanics, not whites, are the majority around here. Thus, Alejandra reprents the majority in San Antonio.
Yes, I thought that studies always show that the majority of the younger generation is Hispanic, black and Asian. If so, why are we being flooded with all of these white dolls?

Yes, you are correct. As another video showed, parents have to pay MORE for those accessories a la carte. The white doll gets those freebies automatically just like in real life.

Actually I feel the same way and I'm Black.

I don't think this is "racist" in the traditional sense. The lack of deluxe minority dolls could come from one of three reasons:

1.) They are in the process of developing them, but haven't released them yet

2.) Focus groups and research (by firms hired by the company) uncovered little demand for minority DELUXE dolls.

3.) White designers having a racial blind spot

I think you need to calm the hell down.

By crying wolf all the time and perceiving "racism" in every facet of your
life, especially where none exists, you are causing people (myself
included) in general to no longer give a darn about the topic.

What will you do or say when real examples of racism begin to
manifest and the majority of people are numb to your cries?

Stop crying Wolf. Calm down. Realize that it's just a Toy.

You most likely didn't care to begin with. No real loss.
Most Americans have a sheeple mentality except when it directly affects them. Sad.

Back then, she had a "Baby Tender Love". I remember that there was also a black version. But the ONLY differences were the hair color and skin color. The nose, hair were all white girl features. These companies sure can be insensitive.
The original Christy dolls were Barbies made to look black in skin color only too. It wasn't until the 1980s that they got their own features. It was because it was cheaper to only make one mold for the dolls and the kids didn't care they just saw Barbie and Christy and didn't care they weren't too stylized. It wasn't until the 80's or 90's it was cost effective to do separate molds as well as to mitigate backlash for dipping Barbie into making her black and giving her black hair instead of blonde to make Christy.
