I have no problem buying most outer garments used. The same goes for cars and electronics.

vases, figurines, etc.
I also buy old kitchen appliances (not the big ones, refrig or dishwasher though) like electric frying pan, blender, mixer, etc. quality on the old stuff (80s and earlier) was SO MUCH BETTER. I have gotten waring blenders for like $5 at goodwill. I have an old sunbeam electric frying pan which will probably outlive me.

Books & Cd's are my favorite thing to buy.

Also, when I drop off stuff at the thrift store it always feels good to donate but then I find myself walking out with a really cool basket or a wool sweater ! Sometimes I finds these beautiful sweaters I think they're from Australia they have beautiful detailed silver buttons. So the next thing I know I'm walking out with stuff !

I try to just buy from the stores that sell used Books & CDs.

I'm a frugalista. Because I have to be, my hubby and I both are small business owners, he is in his first two year start up period. Which means he only pays his expenses.
Most of my shopping is Goodwill/Savers/resale boutiques for clothes. I find them in the higher income areas of town. If I buy new its always on sale.
I dye my hair with coffee or tea. It's a great rinse.
My office has to have both office stuff (desk, etc) but also a living room set up. Nearly everything in my office is from estate sales, repainted items. My 2 prize turquoise occasional chairs were only $300 with purchase and wood/fabric paint and labor. People have offered $1000 for them. My pictures came from Wayfair in the discount section. When people walk in my office they think I had an interior designer
I buy my cereal in bulk from Sprouts.
I buy my meat from the 40% off section at United supermarkets (still within date: mislabeled, etc)
I break 1lb hamburger up into thirds for beef burritos (add 1 can refried beans), spaghetti sauce (add mushrooms) etc.
I can get 3-4 meals out of a pork loin
