Not counting house and car.

My home theater systems $10,000.

Top of the line: Tempurpedic mattress and Top of the line Sleep Number mattress. Can't remember the prices on them but it was expensive. Over $2,500 for sure. (Will never do that again)

Gaming Computers. $1,500

My first Plasma TV. $1,400

Car Stereo system: $1,000

Current Mattress & foundation: $1000

Camera and Accessories: $900-$1,000

Home Stereo: $800

These are my most expensive items purchased in my lifetime. After these items, I'm pretty frugal. And frugal has served me well.

Excluding house and car and sticking to only consumer goods, probably comes down to a race between a piece of jewelry and a piece of furniture.

Not counting house and cars:

My husband is not happy but 10 purses in December, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Milly and a bunch of other brands. I love purses. I haven't totaled up the cost cause I don't want to know but it was all paid on cash, no credit. I could probably buy a used car with what I paid for my beloved hand bags.

My wife would kill me and buried me somewhere out in the dessert if I spent that kind of money on jewelries.
