My machine stopped brewing all of a sudden. After running through vinegar several times it still didn't work. I started to take the thing apart, piece by piece and cleaned each piece. Now it works again.
The problem is, it's only 3 months old. Is this normal?

Depends on your water and now hard because of minerals etc I'd think. Are you pre-filtering the water before placing it in the water container as recommended.

I don't. Can I buy one of those filters you attach to the faucet?

No it is not normal and is covered by their one year warranty. But since you opened it, the warranty is now void. Had you returned it to them, they would have sent a new unit at no cost.

Call Keurig. They may still honor the warranty and send you a new one. If you go to CoffeeIcon.com, you can purchase the K-cups that will clean your machine. We had a similar problem with ours and received a new machine directly from Keurig. Did not have to send anything back to them.

If you're referring to this product it doesn't clean the machine at all, it just cleans the spout. It does nothing for deposit buildup inside the machine. CleanCup Single Cup Brewer Cleaning Cup 5ct - 8068 Only $7.99!

I clean mine regularly by running a vinegar/water mix through the reservoir, it's been going for 8 years

Like I said, it works now. I fixed it myself, somehow. All you need is a couple of screwdrivers and an allen wrench.
