Does anyone on here shop on "global" wholesale websites (pretty much ebay like websites that connect worldwide buyers to sellers in China), either once in a while or all the time? Such as aliexpress.com , dhgate.com , or alibaba.com . I decided to take the gamble and ordered a custom guitar from dhgate as I couldn't find all the options I wanted in the US. So far it has gone smoothly, they even email me photos on the progress of the guitar. So anyone have any experiences? I know these sites get bad reviews but I think if you check a sellers ratings you will be fine 90% of the time. Also expectations, expect the bare minimum and you'll be happy.

would you buy from China of all places. They use brutal slave labor and the stuff is cheap knock offs.
They have NO regulations. Come to think of it, neither do we anymore
Chinese made goods are nothing more than, "dressed up ho's."
It's the manufacturing Mecca over there right now. Why should Walmart be the only one that gets it directly from China ? To get a small custom item made here in the USA it costs a fortune.
I recently inquired into some supplies from Alibaba, my product sources here in the USA are getting items from China, sticking a Company Label on the wrapping and marking it up 100%, why can't I ?? Mexico is another source, but it's hard to find " organization" there.
Yeah.. not so much, no. I avoid Chinese made products from American retailers. Im certainly not going to go one step worse and get em from china. Who knows what toxic materials they are using and if they are genuine. Its bad enough when they produce export quality goods, I can only imagine the lack of quality and shenanigans that goes on with products made in China not for foreign companies.
No but I buy lots of things made in China. I just do not trust Chinese sellers to not sell fakes.like the Japanese in the 50's and early 60's much of which was called Japanese junk ;the quality varies now. But American quality has gone way down hill on most things since the 70's.
Sometimes, there are high-quality but cheap items on the three webs, you must spend some time to find it.
