If you don't want Prime Add Ons, don't buy them. There's no requirement.

I dont but thats not really the point. These add on items used to be for the most part regular prime items before they launched this stupid Prime Add On.

I don't find that to be the case. Prime items change all the time. I used to order several subscription items because of the larger discount and every single one of them became no longer available. In my experience, the add on items are exactly that - things they can ship inexpensively as part of a larger order so you get the benefit of that.

I finally gave in and signed up.

I get regular delivery of pet items - treats and pee pads mostly. I have lots of animals. Better than dragging a shopping cart around at the store. And cheaper!

I just placed an Amazon Prime order today - Saturday June 6. It is not scheduled for delivery until Wednesday, June 10. Last time I checked, that is not 2 days.

I have Prime and I enjoy it. If I plan my purchase out ahead of time, I use the regular shipping and get the $1 credit for whatever. I haven't taken advantage very much of the music, haven't used the movies at all.

There are just certain businesses that aren't local to us such as a nice camera shop or items that are just incredibly overpriced to buy locally such as memory cards and other electronics.

Amazon is great, and I love the prime...I've had it for years. Formthenpast 5 years, I have sat at my computer and ordered Christmas presents for everyone all in one marathon sitting, paid no shipping, and then watched whole the packages strolled in. No Christmas crowds for me.

I take full advantage of the subscription items to keep me stocked up on moisturizer, lotion, bio-freeze pain spray, etc. I can get big bags of Splenda cheaper than at Costco. Plus, I can search through thousands of items, most of which are not available in my town.

I watch the prime video all the time, get free audio books, and music. Overall, it is the best deal in the world.
