Does anyone have a good solution to off-gassing upholstered furniture. I have a La-Z-Boy sofa that still gives off an odor after 9 months. Of course, La-Z-Boy claims that it doesn't. So I am looking for a solution.

I am wondering if Zorbx would work. I know that anything like Fabreze will just cover the smell up.

I've already aired out the cushions on the porch for days on end. However, when the room in which it sits gets warm, it still really stinks.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I found this online:
Toxins & human health: My experience with an off-gassing couch | The SunriseGuide

And this: Ashley's Green Life: Green Nursery: How to Off-Gas Furniture

It sounds like the off-gassing can take years in some cases. It sounds like you need to make your own stink with La-Z-Boy and demand that they take their stinky sofa back and refund your money.

Good luck.

Oh, were it that easy. La-Z-Boy is a huge corporation. They couldn't care less about their customers.

How about filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau?
