A push mower. Wouldn't cut grass evenly, was hard to use, and even harder to get my teenage son to use it.

A 1969 Volkswaghen Beetle, bought brand new in 1969. I made the mistake of having air-conditioning installed after I bought it. Even back then you couldnt live in Houston without a/c, but I wanted a Beetle and none of them came with factory a/c. The two problems I had with that car were getting it started and keeping it going.

Land Rover. Actually I made this mistake twice...once in 1995 and again in 2004. I'm convinced both were possessed by some form of Lucas Electronics evil spirit. Never ever...ever buy a British car. You have been warned.

"The worst/best thing about the Internet is that you can make drunken impulse buys without even leaving your couch. I used to get hammered and then a few days later, I would get what I would call "surprise boxes" in the mail. It would be a bunch of dumb **** that I didn't need and didn't remember ordering. This is how I once wound up with about $150 worth of Hulk Hogan merchandise."
