Hello,

I am contemplating a purchase of a new washing machine. I am putting my thoughts on a top loader to avoid the front loader mold problems. I'd prefer not to buy a high efficiency washer because they don't seem to wash whites as well. I've used both types before.

I read some reviews of Speed Queen appliances and they seem to be good.

Has anyone ever owned a Speed Queen and what has your experience been with it?

I currently own a 2003 Whirlpool Gold.

Thank You

I researched them before. They will be my next washer and dryer. They tend to be more on the commercial side I believe. Most reviews I read were glowing reviews. Of course, they aren't the most water efficient but they do clean well.
