If you see a product at Amazon has a very large number of reviews and the vast majority are 5 stars, try to check if some reviews have the wording such as "I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review". I have seen a lot of them and I really think Amazon should ban such practice. First, I've never seen a product whose reviews by such solicited customers are overly negative or even neutral. They are always something like 4.9 out of 5 star ratings. Second, this is unfair to other similar products, and misleads customers into uninformed decisions to choose them over others.
