Doesn't surprise me. Whenever I visit a Target I can't afford to buy anything. Groceries are way above our local grocery chain. They have no scales for the produce so you pay 25 cents per banana. They just don't get it! A lot of folks are
struggling and they shop for the best prices. Target is a lovely store with lots of lovely items to LOOK AT only! This is the case here in my city anyway.

How much are the bananas at the grocery stores? Trader Joes and Target both have their bananas as 19 cents each, which ends up being about the same, if not cheaper, than the grocery stores.

If they had to get all new registers for all their stores, then their prices would go up. I would much rather them just break down the price of a pound of produce to how much each one would cost rather then pay higher prices for a "per pound" price tag.
