Naw, all of mom's relatives died of cancer in the '50s, '60s and '70's. Not really.

Why did three of my mother's six siblings die of cancer? One died from breast cancer, one from lung cancer (he was being treated for Tuberculosis) and the third from colon cancer? Her eldest brother made it to 101. Mom died at 86. Her mother died from cancer, too, but I don't remember which one.

Will try. The first thing I thought of when I saw it was the 1964 commerical from DuPont song "Better Things For Better
Living Through Chemistry" (song) and there were other's in the 70's with one slogan "Chemicals are your friends."
The Dupont is on Youtube (but won't attach - so anyone interested has to type it in on YT).

and so many other products that were suppose to be harmless or really good for us. like this below which
also isn't working.
