Yes, from the people who banned incandescent light bulbs, the congress passed and the President has signed a law banning microbeads in exfoliating body wash products. So if you're looking for Dial skin therapy body wash or similar product, buy it soon because it will be off the shelves in short order.
Seems many towns/cities and enviros were complaining that the beads don't break down and can't be filtered by sewer processing plants and pass into rivers causing all kinds of problems.

I would be thrilled if all the fragranced crap would go away, I don't wear fragrance and don't want it in my shower/hair care products among other things. Quite a challenge to find at times.
