Hey everyone. This is going to be an unusual post, so please bear with me:
Several years ago, I had the carpet in my home professionally cleaned by a service. They did a decent job, and after they cleaned the carpet using the liquid, the cleaner took a little hand-held, plastic (I think) "carpet comb", ran it through the carpet, and brought up most/all of the ground-in dirt at the crevices of my carpeted steps & in some other little hard to reach places. The "comb" (for lack of a better word) that was used was a small hand-held, non-electronic "device" that looked like something that would be an attachment to a vacuum cleaner.
I forgot to ask the cleaning company what that device was, and haven't had occasion to use them since that time.
I have since looked online for something like this "carpet comb", and the only thing I've been able to find are those large carpet "rakes" that people use to comb through shag carpeting. This is NOT what the cleaner used on my carpet.
So, does this ring a bell with anyone?! And, if so, is this available in stores and/or online?! I have looked for this on Amazon, and haven't been able to find this - I haven't even been able to find a picture of this.
try here, if you don't see it check to see if there is a janitorial supply company in your area
my ex used to clean carpets ages ago and that's where he got most of his supplies from, though I think they only sold in bulk
might even be worth calling a cleaning company to see if they would sell you one directly, for a profit of course Brushes & Bonnets - Carpet Cleaning, Hard Floor, Grout & Tile | Jon-Don
